An invitation.

That is not a slogan. That is the heartbeat of everything we do.

Belong and Become is not an orientation. It is not a membership form with a smile on it. In ninety minutes you will know who we are, what we believe, why we exist in this region, and exactly what your next step looks like.

Come with questions. Come skeptical. Come having been here for a year or having walked in last Sunday. There is no pressure to commit to anything before you are ready.

The Vision
Why The Gathering exists. Our story, our convictions, and what we believe. We do not walk to victory. We walk with victory, because Christ has already won it. This is also where we say the gospel plainly, because it is the only thing in the room that changes a life.

The Structure
How this church actually works, and where you fit. Acts 2 shows both halves of the early church, the temple and the houses. We have two names for those. The Table and Circles.

Your Next Step
What covenant partnership means, what we commit to you, and what we ask of you. Covenants go both directions.

The floor is yours. There are no bad questions in this room. We close by praying over everyone who came.

The Table and Circles

Two names for
two different things.

The Table is care. Every covenant partner has one. Sign up for the one that fits your life, your side of town, and the night you can actually make. If you never get around to picking, we place you, on purpose and with prayer. Nobody in this family goes without a Table.

Your Table Leader is a shepherd, not a coordinator. Somebody who has committed to know you, pray for you, notice when you go quiet, and show up before you have to ask. It gathers at least twice a month around a meal, worship, the Word, and prayer. Kids are part of the point, not a problem to solve. The Table does not end.

A Circle is interest. You choose it. Men, women, recovery, young families, a book, a study, a season of life. It runs for a season, and it is allowed to finish.

If it can end when the study ends, it is a Circle. If it should still be standing there when your life falls apart on a Tuesday, it is a Table.

Guests are invited to the table. Partners are given one.
A note on the change
What you have known as Small Gatherings is now a Circle. Same room, same people, clearer name. We stopped using one word for two different things.
